Switch to it if the per-tech bill is what's driving you off. Every Service Fusion plan includes unlimited users at a flat $208 to $627 a month, so the price stops moving when you hire. QuickBooks sync is two-way, for Online and Desktop.
ServiceTitan Alternatives
Most shops land on this page after the quote: pricing is per technician, comes through a sales call, and shops commonly report an implementation fee on top. Here are five platforms worth pricing against it, with the facts checked September 5, 2026 (Housecall Pro's pricing rechecked September 15, 2026) against each vendor's own pages.

What ServiceTitan actually costs, before you compare
ServiceTitan publishes no prices: three tier names, per-technician billing, and an add-on layer (Pricebook Pro, Marketing Pro, Dispatch Pro) that's also unpriced. It won't take on referred shops under three technicians, and shops report annual contracts. The pattern across reports is several hundred dollars per tech per month, with five-figure setup costs at larger shops.
| Paid / quoted | Billing unit | Shop size | Type | Reported |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $600+ | per month | small trades shop | real-bill | 2026-05-12 |
| $1000+ | per month | solo electrician, $185k rev | real-quote | 2025-10-27 |
| $30000+ setup + per-user | one-time + per user | 4-truck HVAC shop | unverified | 2026-07-30 |
| $300-500 | per month | 10+ techs | unverified | 2026-06-13 |
| $250 | per tech per month (annual contract) | 6-tech plumbing shop | real-quote | 2026-02-08 |
Self-reported by contractors in public threads. "real-bill" means the poster described their own invoice; "real-quote" means a price a vendor quoted them.
The five ServiceTitan alternatives, priced
Ordered by how directly each answers the usual reasons for leaving: the per-tech bill, the sales cycle, or the contract. Every "Switch to it if" line comes from what the vendor states on its own pages.
Switch to it if you want commercial-grade dispatch and agreements without per-tech billing. FieldEdge doesn't publish prices either, but it publishes its full tier matrix, ships a flat-rate pricebook on the entry tier, and treats QuickBooks Desktop as a first-class path.
Switch to it if you're residential-first and want the bill visible before anyone calls you. Tiers run $59 to $329 a month with seat rates printed, there's no long-term contract, and QuickBooks Desktop is supported.
Switch to it if your techs outnumber office staff several to one. FieldPulse prices field-only seats below full-access ones, and maintenance agreements and equipment records are first-class features.
Switch to it if the honest answer is that you're not a ServiceTitan-sized shop yet. Jobber starts at $29 a month for one person, every extra user is $29, and you can sign up without talking to anyone.
The trade-offs of leaving ServiceTitan
- Commercial agreement automation thins out. ServiceTitan's service-agreement and per-job costing depth is its real moat. FieldEdge covers agreements on every tier, deepening as you go up; the other platforms do maintenance plans, not commercial contract automation.
- The Sage Intacct path is gone. ServiceTitan is the only platform in our database with a native Sage Intacct export. If your office runs on a mid-market ERP rather than QuickBooks, none of the five above replaces that.
- Two of the five still make you call sales. FieldEdge and FieldPulse publish no dollar figures. The difference from ServiceTitan: FieldEdge publishes its tier map, and FieldPulse publishes its seat model, so you negotiate with more information.
ServiceTitan alternatives: frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest ServiceTitan alternative?
Of the five here, Jobber has the lowest list price: $29 a month for one person on annual billing, up to $499 a month for the Plus plan. QuoteIQ, which targets smaller shops than ServiceTitan does, starts at $25 a month.
Which ServiceTitan alternatives work with QuickBooks Desktop?
Service Fusion (two-way sync), FieldEdge (on every tier), Housecall Pro and FieldPulse all support QuickBooks Desktop. Jobber does not. ServiceTitan itself does not confirm Desktop support on its own pages.
Does ServiceTitan have a minimum size?
Its referral terms exclude shops under three technicians, and its pricing is per technician through a sales call. Shops report several hundred dollars per tech per month plus implementation fees.
The bottom line on ServiceTitan alternatives
If the per-tech quote was the problem, Service Fusion's flat unlimited-user plans are the most direct answer. If you need commercial depth on QuickBooks Desktop, price FieldEdge. If the truth is you're a smaller residential shop, Housecall Pro and Jobber publish everything and start self-serve. Get the ServiceTitan quote in writing anyway; it's the only way its price becomes a fact you can compare.
