ServiceTitan vs Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro publishes the clearest tier structure of any vendor we track; ServiceTitan publishes no prices at all. That difference runs through everything else in this comparison. Facts checked 2026-09-05 against both vendors' own pages.
If you sign up for Housecall Pro through this site, it may pay us a commission; ServiceTitan pays nothing. No company pays for a better verdict here.
The three facts that usually decide it
- Price transparency. Housecall Pro: $59 to $329/mo published, seat overages printed, no long-term contract. ServiceTitan: three demo-gated tiers billed per technician, an unpriced add-on layer (Pricebook Pro, Marketing Pro, Dispatch Pro), and an implementation fee that's widely reported but not published.
- Who each one is built for. Housecall Pro targets solo to roughly ten-tech residential shops; maintenance plans arrive only on MAX at $299/mo. ServiceTitan starts making sense at ten-plus techs with commercial work, where its service-agreement automation and job costing are core workflow, not add-ons.
- QuickBooks Desktop. Housecall Pro syncs with Desktop alongside Online, confirmed. ServiceTitan's own pages don't confirm Desktop support. For a shop with years of Desktop history, that's a short conversation.

What shops report paying each one
ServiceTitan publishes nothing, so reported prices are the only public numbers. Note the shape: Housecall Pro reports cluster near list price; ServiceTitan reports run from $250 per tech to five-figure setups.

Which one the Stack Builder would hand you
Run the Stack Builder with your team size and work mix. Roughly: a residential shop under ten techs that wants published pricing and Desktop sync points to Housecall Pro, priced at the tier that has your feature (maintenance plans mean MAX). A commercial shop past ten techs comparing ServiceTitan should demand the per-tech figure and implementation cost in writing, then compare it to the reported numbers above.
