ServiceTitan vs Jobber
These two aren't really rivals; they're different weight classes. The comparison matters because growing shops outgrow one into the other, and the price jump is the part nobody publishes. Facts below come from both vendors' own pages, checked2026-09-05, plus prices contractors report.
Neither company pays this site anything for this comparison.
The shape of the choice
- Jobber publishes its prices; ServiceTitan doesn't. Jobber runs $29 to $499/mo list with a real one-person plan. ServiceTitan's three tiers are demo-gated, billed per technician, with an implementation fee that's widely reported but never published. You can budget Jobber from its pricing page; for ServiceTitan you budget from what other shops report paying.
- ServiceTitan is built for the shop Jobber caps out at. Jobber quote-gates above 15 users. ServiceTitan's referral program won't even accept shops under 3 techs. A solo operator has no reason to sit through a ServiceTitan demo; a 15-tech commercial operation has outgrown Jobber's plans.
- Commercial depth vs residential speed. ServiceTitan does commercial service-agreement automation and per-job costing as core workflow. Jobber counters with route optimization, GPS tracking and its Client Hub portal, aimed at residential service.
- Accounting is a real filter. Jobber has no QuickBooks Desktop sync and one-way Xero (Connect plan up). ServiceTitan's Desktop support is unconfirmed on its own pages, but it's the only vendor in our set with a Sage Intacct export, which matters at exactly the size that considers ServiceTitan.

Which one the Stack Builder would hand you
Run the Stack Builder with your real numbers. The short version: a solo-to-15-user residential shop that wants published pricing points to Jobber. A commercial operation past ten techs with office staff, service agreements and an appetite for per-tech pricing points to ServiceTitan, budgeted from the reported prices above rather than hopes. In between is where the demo pressure lives; the pricing database is the antidote.
