This site is built to know as little about you as possible. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts, loads fonts from its own domain, and has no forms. We cannot identify you, and we don't try to.

What data is processed

When you visit any page, the hosting provider that serves this site automatically processes technical connection data (IP address, date and time of the request, browser type, referrer URL) in server log files. This happens with every website and is required to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating the site securely). Log data is not merged with other data and is deleted on the hosting provider's standard schedule.

If you email us, we process the address and content of your message to answer it. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Emails are deleted once the exchange is concluded and no retention duty applies.

What is not happening

• No cookies, no local tracking identifiers set by us
• No analytics or advertising services
• No contact forms, no accounts, no newsletters
• No sale or sharing of visitor data with anyone

Links to other websites (software vendors, public forums) open in a new tab; once you leave, the destination site's privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77), in Berlin: the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit. Since we hold no data that identifies you beyond transient server logs, most requests will come back empty, but you're welcome to ask: hello@markus-green.com.
