The differences that matter
- Price transparency, recently split. Jobber: $29 to $499/mo published, $29 per extra user at every tier, quote-gated only above 15 users. Workiz: three tiers (Standard, Pro, Ultimate), no dollar figures, billing unit unstated. We logged the change on our changelog the day we caught it.
- Workiz gates its trade features on the top tier. Its industry pages promote flat-rate price books, service plans and equipment tracking, and all three are Ultimate-only. If one of those brought you to Workiz, the demo quote you want is the Ultimate quote.
- QuickBooks Desktop rules both out. Neither syncs with Desktop. If your books live there, this whole matchup is the wrong page; see the accounting guide.
- Where Workiz is genuinely strong: the deepest lead-source integrations in our set (Angi Leads, Thumbtack, Yelp, Reserve with Google) and first-party phone tools, though the Genius phone suite is sold separately and unpriced.

What Workiz states without naming a price
Standard for growing teams, Pro for mid-size, Ultimate for multi-location and franchise operations. The only dollar figure left on its pricing page is a "save $400+" annual-billing claim. Estimates build from saved templates tied to a central Price Book; equipment tracking covers install history on Ultimate.

You want the price on the website, a genuine $29 solo entry, route-optimized days and a customer portal, all on QuickBooks Online.
When Workiz is the right choice
Purchased leads run your intake: the Angi, Thumbtack and Yelp integrations are the deepest in our database. Or you're multi-location or franchise-shaped, which is exactly who the Ultimate tier and its equipment tracking are built for.
Which of these features do you actually need?
- Lead-source integrations matter when a real share of jobs arrives from paid platforms and re-keying them wastes dispatcher time.
- Equipment tracking matters for install-base service, and in this pair it exists only on Workiz Ultimate; make the demo quote that tier.
